Description
Iberia, Gadir. Mid-late 2nd century B.C. Æ 1/4 unit (16 mm, 2.82 g, 6 h). Head of Melqart left, wearing lion's skin headdress, club at shoulder / Dolphin coiled around trident left. ACIP 681; SNG BM 293-304. Attractive sandy green and brown deposits over dark brown patina. Nice very fine.
