Description
Bruttium, Petelia. Late 3rd century B.C. Æ (16 mm, 4.09 g, 9 h). Head of Ares right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet / ΠΕΤΕΛΙ-ΑΝΩΝ, Nike standing left, holding wreath. Caltabiano 3; SNG ANS 607; HN Italy 2456. Dark olive-green patina, obverse porosity. Choice very fine.
