Description
Bruttium, The Bretti. Ca. 216-214 B.C. Æ quartuncia (13 mm, 1.66 g, 11 h). Head of the sea-goddess Amphitrite(?) left, wearing crab headdress / BPET-TIΩN, crab; above, race-torch. Pfeiler p. 33, 4a; Scheu 51; HN Italy 1944. Green patina with a light earthen wash on the reverse. Good very fine.
