Description
Sicily, Syracuse. Dionysios I. 405-367 B.C. Æ litra (19 mm, 8.21 g, 1 h). Ca. 380 B.C. Head of Athena left, wearing Corinthian helmet, the bowl decorated with an olive wreath / Hippocamp with reins trailing left. CNS 45; SNG ANS 434. Blue-green and brown patina. Good very fine.
