Sicily, Syracuse. Agathokles. 317-289 B.C. Æ litra (22 mm, 6.07 g, 7 h). Ca. 308/7 B.C. ΣΥΡΑ[ΚΟΣΙΩΝ], diademed head of youthful Herakles(?) right; behind, bow (not visible) / Lion prowling right, raising foreleg; above, club; in exergue, arrow right. CNS 151 Ds 8 Rs 63; BAR issue 24; SNG ANS 739. Mottle green and brown patina, light surface roughness on obverse. Good very fine.
