Description
Sicily, Syracuse. Agathokles. 317-289 B.C. Æ (21 mm, 10.48 g, 12 h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet decorated with a griffin / Pegasos flying left. CNS 115; SNG ANS 695. Well struck on a nice broad flan and of excellent style. Dark green patina. Nearly extremely fine.
