Description
SWITZERLAND: Zurich City Silver Taler, MDCLX (1660), PCGS AU50, KM88. D-4648. Obverse: Large crowned arms in laurel branches. Reverse: Legend on banner, inscription in center with lily. This Taler was nickname "Wasertaler" after Johann Heinrich Waser who was elected mayor of Zurich on June 28th, 1652. Finest and only one graded by PCGS. NGC graded a total of 2; AU55 and MS63.
