Seleukid Kingdom. Diodotos Tryphon. 142-138 B.C. Æ (18 mm, 5.64 g, 1 h). Antioch on the Orontes. Diademed head of Diodotos Tryphon right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΤΡΥΦΩΝΟΣ [Α]ΥΤΟΚΡΑΤ[ΟΡΟΣ], Macedonian helmet adorned with a ibex horn; in inner left field, aphlaston. SC 2034.2a; HGC 9, 1061. Dark brown patina with nice earthen highlights. Good very fine.
