Seleukid Kingdom. Diodotos Tryphon. 142-138 B.C. Æ (19 mm, 4.84 g, 12 h). Antioch on the Orontes. Diademed head of Diodotos Tryphon right / [Β]ΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΤΡΥΦΩΝΟΣ [Α]ΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΟΡΟΣ, Macedonian helmet adorned with a ibex horn; in inner left field, the caps of the Dioskouroi. SC 2034.2d; HGC 9, 1061. Well centered and struck. Black patina with earthen deposits. Choice very fine.
