Kushan Empire. Kanishka I. A.D. 127/8-ca. 147. Æ tetradrachm (24 mm, 15.33 g, 11 h). Kanishka standing facing, head left, sacrificing over altar and holding standard / Siva standing facing, emptying flask and holding thunderbolt, trident, and a he-goat; in left field, tamgha. MK 812; Donum Burns 207. Dark green and red-brown patina. Very fine.
