Paeonian Kingdom. Patraos. 340/35-315 B.C. AR tetradrachm (21 mm, 12.47 g, 3 h). Laureate head of Apollo right / Π-[OA-PT]AY (sic), horseman galloping right, riding down fallen warrior who defends himself with raised shield. Cf. Pavlovska 40-4; Paeonian Hoard 461 (same dies?); cf. SNG ANS 1040 (legend). Toned. Obverse die deterioration. Very fine.
