Anonymous. 211-210 B.C. AR quinarius (15 mm, 2.16 g, 3 h). Apulian mint. Head of Roma right, wearing winged Phrygian helmet; behind, denomination (V) / ROMA in exergue, the Dioscuri on horseback rearing right, each holding couched lance; below, mint-symbol. Crawford 102/2a; cf. King 18; Sydenham 181a; RSC 33i. Rare. Bold strike from fresh dies. Nice old toning. Choice extremely fine.
