CAROLVS : D : G : MAG : BRIT : FRAN : ET : HIB : REX :, Charles on horseback trotting left, holding sword and reins; horizontal F below raised back leg / QVÆ · DEVS : CONIVNXIT : NEMO : SEPARET, crowned and garnished coat-of-arms; two pellets above. Burns 39 var.; SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian), 1497-8 (same dies); SCBC 5555. Small die-break on edge at 12 h (this is not a rim bump or mount mark). Toned. Fine.
