Octavian. 32-1 BC. AR Denarius (20mm - 3.80 g). Uncertain Italian mint, possibly Rome. Draped bust of Pax right, wearing stephane; cornucopia behind, olive spray before / CAESAR DIVI F, Octavian walking right, right hand raised in adlocutio, holding spear over left shoulder. RIC I 253; BMCRE 611; CRI 400; RSC 72. Nice VF, attractive dark toning, slightly off-center.
