Syria, Seleucis and Pieria. Balanea. Septimius Severus. A.D. 193-211. Æ (22 mm, 5.78 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Septimius Severus right / ΛEYK, helmeted figure in quadriga right. CNG E196, 136, otherwise unpublished. Extremely rare - just two examples known. Brown patina, rough surfaces. Fine.
