ROMAN EMPIRE. Faustina II (Wife of Marcus Aurelius). AD. 147-175. AR Denarius (3.38 gm; 17 mm). Rome, 160-161 AD. FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, bust draped right / FECVND AVGVSTAE, Fecunditas standing left with four children. BMCRE 89; Cohen 95; RIC 676. The reverse commemorates the birth of a fourth surviving child, a fourth daughter, to Faustina and Marcus Aurelius. Choice VF. Toned.
