Judaea, Aelia Capitolina (Jerusalem). Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus. A.D. 161-180 and 161-169 respectively. Æ (27 mm, 14.08 g, 6 h). Laureate, draped and cuirassed confronted busts of Marcus Aurelius, on left, and Lucius Verus, on right / Tyche-Astarte seated left, holding patera and cornucopiae. Meshorer 55; Rosenberger 34; Kadman -; RPC temp. 6415. Scarce. Olive-brown patina with lighter earthen highlights. Very fine.
