HRAKLHI[WN], head of Athena left, wearing crested Corinthian-style helmet; bowl of helmet decorated with griffin / Herakles standing facing, head right, holding club and lion's skin; in left field, [F]IL[O]; above to right, Nike flying left, crowning him. Van Keuren 132; HN Italy 1429; SNG ANS 597. Toned, choice VF, minor roughness on reverse.
