Description
Attica, Athens. After 449 B.C. AR tetradrachm (20 mm, 17.04 g, 1'). Helmeted head of Athena right; helmet decorated with floral vine on bowl and three olive-leaves on visor / AQE, owl standing right, head facing; olive-spray and inverted crescent above; all within square incuse. Kroll 8; Dewing 1591; SNG Copenhagen 31. Nice VF, flan a little tight.
