Description
Phoenicia, Byblos. Uzzibaal. Ca. 365-350 B.C. AR shekel (26 mm, 13.27 g, 5'). Three hoplites, each holding shield and sword, standing on galley sailing left over waves, prow ending in lion's head; below, hippocamp swimming left above murex shell; above dorsal fin, ZO / Lion to left attacking bull. Betlyon 14 var. (no ZO on obv.); BMC 4-5 var. (same); Rouvier 639 var. (same); SNG Copenhagen 132. Good VF, minor die-rust as is normal for this coinage.
