CELTIC, Danube Region. Imitating Thasos. Circa 1st Century BC. AR Tetradrachm (36mm - 16.88 g). Wreathed head of Dionysos right / Nude Herakles standing facing, head left, holding club and lion's skin; monogram left. Göbl OTA Class III; Lukanc 1443 (same obverse die) . Nice VF, a few minor cleaning scratches, well centered.
Comes with a David Sear Certificate of Authenticity.
