THRACE. Philippopolis. Elagabalus. 218-222 AD. Æ 28mm (16.88 g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, holding shield pointed forwards and large round shield with head of Medusa on central boss / Apollo standing left, holding branch in right hand, lyre in left arm, within hexastyle temple, shield in pediment. BMC -; SNG Copenhagen -; Varbanov -. Near VF, dark brown patina, some roughness on the reverse. Unpublished?.
