Sicily, Syracuse. Hieron II. 275-215 B.C. Æ (16 mm, 2.94 g, 12 h). Ca. 269-263 B.C. Head of Artemis-Arethusa left, hair bound in ampyx and sphendone; behind, poppy / [I]EPΩNOΣ, pegasos flying left. CNS 202; SNG ANS 1018. Tan patina, minor roughness. Nearly extremely fine.
