Cilicia, Hierapolis. 2nd-1st centuries B.C. Æ (22 mm, 6.90 g, 12 h). Veiled, draped and turreted bust of Tyche right; behind, monogram / ΙΕΡΟΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ /[ΤΩΝ ΠΡΟΣ] [ΤΩ ΠΥΡΑΜΩΙ, the river-god Pyramos swimming right; on hand at side, eagle standing right. Cf. SNG BN 2212-8 (control). Earthen-green patina, a couple of cleaning scratches on reverse. Very fine.
