Cappadocian Kingdom. Ariarathes I. 333-322 B.C. AR drachm (20 mm, 5.34 g, 12 h). Gaziura. Baal of Gaziura seated left with torso facing, holding grapes, grain ear, eagle and lotus-tipped scepter; by feet to left, monogram / Griffin left attacking stag kneeling left. Simonetta 1b; SNG von Aulock 6255; Traité II 669. Very rare. Toned and good metal for the issue. Some striking weakness. Good very fine.
