Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy II Philadelphos. 285-246 B.C. Æ (40 mm, 69.60 g, 12 h). Alexandria, RY 17 (254 B.C.) Diademed head of Zeus-Ammon right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ, two eagles standing left on thunderbolt; between left eagle's legs, date (P). Svoronos 497; SNG Copenhagen -. Reddish-brown patina with orange-earthen deposits. Very fine.
