Faustina II. Augusta, A.D. 147-175. AR denarius (19 mm, 3.33 g, 6 h). Rome, under Marcus Aurelius, ca. A.D. 170-175. FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, draped bust of Faustina II right, wearing single circlet of pearls / I-V-NO, Juno standing facing, head left, holding patera and scepter; to left, peacock standing left, head left. RIC 688; Szaivert 17-4b; cf. RSC 120a (peacock's head right). Reverse a touch softly struck. Nearly extremely fine.
