KINGS of THRACE. Lysimachus. 323-281 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (17.22 gm; 29 mm). Lampsacus mint, 297/6-282/1 BC. Diademed head of deified Alexander right with horn of Ammon / Athena enthroned left, holding Nike who crowns royal name and resting elbow on shield propped against throne, transverse spear in background, HP monogram in inner left field, crersent below in exergue. Cf. Thompson 61; Cf. Müller 395. Lovely style. Well struck in high relief. Choice EF. Toned.
