KINGS of THRACE. Lysimachus. 323-281 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (16.92 gm; 31 mm). Lampsacus mint, 297/6-282/1 BC. Diademed head of deified Alexander right with horn of Ammon / Athena enthroned left, holding Nike who crowns royal name and resting elbow on shield propped against throne, transverse spear in background, monogram in inner left field, crersent below in exergue. Thompson 49; Cf. Müller 395. Two very small light scratches on reverse field between 12-1. (Hardly visible). Nice style. Well struck on a full broad flan. Choice aEF. Nice old-cabinet toning.
