Description
Lucania, Herakleia. Ca. 433-330 B.C. AR diobol (11 mm, 0.99 g, 12 h). Head of Athena right, wearing Attic helmet decorated with Skylla / Herakles standing right, wrestling with the Nemean lion. Van Keuren 71; SNG ANS 43; HN Italy 1380. Toned, split on edge, obverse a little off center, but in the non-annoying direction. Very fine.
