GORDIAN III. 238-244 AD. Æ Sestertius (30mm - 20.73 g). Rome mint. Struck 243 AD. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / P M TR P V COS II P P, SC in exergue, Apollo seated left holding branch in right hand, left elbow resting on lyre. RIC IV 303a; Cohen 262. Good VF, dark green patina, very minor roughness.
