Geta. As Caesar, A.D. 198-209. AR denarius (20 mm, 2.95 g, 6 h). Laodicea, under Septimius Severus and Caracalla, ca. A.D. 202/3. P SEPTIMIVS GETA CAES, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta right / MINERV SANCT, Minerva standing facing, head left, supporting grounded shield and holding inverted spear. Cf. RIC 105a (bust not cuirassed); BMC 751-2; RSC 83a. Extremely fine.
