Elagabalus. A.D. 218-222. AR denarius (18 mm, 3.01 g, 12 h). Antioch, A.D. 218/9. ANTONINVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate head of Elagabalus right / [FEL]ICIT-AS TEMP, galley right. RIC -; cf. BMC 278; cf. RSC 27d. Scarce bust type for Elagabalus, and unpublished variety with only six rowers. Very fine.
