ROMAN EMPIRE: Nero, AE Sestertius, AD 54-68 (21.70g), NGC Choice XF, Strike 5/5, Surface 2/5. Obverse: Nero facing left. Reverse: Triumphal arch. Mint: Lugdunum. A big, lovely example of the type with an attractive portrait and reverse. The patina enhances the detail. Independent grading provides the assurance that this coin has not been smoothed and or tooled. $1950
