Struck 1497-1504. + F?RnAnDUS (triple annulets) ?T : ??LISAB?T D G R?X ?T R?GInA : (double annulet stops), crowned and mantled busts of Fernando and Isabel facing one another; aqueduct above, A to right, annulet above IIIJ below / SuB : unBRA (double annulet) ALARum : TuARum : PROT?G? (annulet above pellet) nO (us retrograde), nimbate eagle facing, head left, with wings displayed, bearing crowned royal coat-of-arms. ME 2954; Calicó 13; Friedberg 125. In NGC encapsulation graded AU 55. Portraits of fine style. Very rare. Ex-Triton XVI. Note: The NGC label gives a date of 1476-1515, which is different than the CNG date attribution for this very coin. .Other examples of this coin are listed with varied daes, so there is no agreed upon date for this type.
