Hadrian. A.D. 117-138. AR denarius (17 mm, 3.31 g, 6 h). Rome, ca. A.D. 134-138. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, bare-headed and draped bust of Hadrian / FELICI-TAS AVG, emperor standing right, holding role and clasping hands with Felicitas standing lleft, holding caduceus. Cf. RIC 237 (bust); cf. BMC 613-7 (same); RSC 632a. Rare bust type for the issue. Toned. Very fine.
