Description
Two Bronze Age oil lamps, Holy Land, Judea, ca. 1550 - 1200 BC. One is an unusual example standing on a heavy flat foot, 4-1/4” long, with heavy mineral encrustation. The other is 5-1/4” wide, has a rounded base, strong mineral deposits and small damage. Cf. “Oil Lamps of the Holy Land, The Adler Collection", page 2, for similar examples. Ex Sami Taha.
