Description
A pair of Egyptian steatite scarabs, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, the first ‘Amen-Re’ on the base with a lotus stem and flower beside and above, 14 x 11mm; the second with an erect cobra or ‘Uraeus’ before a feather, 14 x 9mm. The first with minor chipping at end, the second with light wear. Both holed lengthwise for suspension.Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range $150 - $250.
