Description
A pleasing Daunian pedestal plate, Italic, 4th Century BC, the face nicely decorated with red-orange banding, contrasting well with the pale brown clay. The rim of the plate with decorative ridges and two hole at one side for suspension. H: 2 ¼” (5.7 cm); W: 6 ¼” (16.1 cm). Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value range $330 - $450.
