A lot of three terracotta lamps. The first is a Hellenistic type, c. 3rd - 2nd Century BC, with round body with lug handle, long spout and round nozzle. Raised rim around fill-hole with fillet on base of spout. L: 3 ¾” (9.5 cm). The second is a late Hellenistic type, c. 1st Century BC, with ribbed band around fill-hole with concave rim. The spout is short and decorated with a bucranium and with arrowhead nozzle; base with divided ring filled with incised lines. L: 3” (7.6 cm). The last is an Egyptian type, 3rd - 4th Century, with wide body, the fill-hole surrounded by a stylized ovolo device, the spout short with rounded nozzle and pinched handle at back. On base, lightly molded double circle with ridge below handle. L: 3 ½” (8.9 cm). Each is intact, two showing signs of ancient use. All are good examples of their type.
