A large Indus Valley bowl from the Nal Culture of Baluchistan, c. 2900 – 2500 BC, the vertical walls nicely decorated with geometric designs in a dark brown slip over the crème slip, the bottom tapers to a low ring foot. Intact, few minor rim chips, light earthen deposits. H: 3 ¾” (9.5 cm); Dia: 5 ½” (14 cm). Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value range $250-$350.
