Cilicia, Flaviopolis. Trajan. A.D. 98-117. Æ (15 mm, 2.40 g, 1 h). CY 42 (A.D. 115/6). ΤΡΑΙΑΝ[Ο? ΚΑΙ]?ΑΡ, laureate head of Trajan right / ΦΛΑΥ-ΙΟΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ, draped bust of female (Plotina?) right; below, date ЄT BM. SNG Levante 1535 (same dies); SNG BN -; SNG Pfälzer 493. Very rare. Dark brown surfaces, deposits on Trajan's neck. Very fine.
