Nero. A.D. 54-68. Æ quadrans (15 mm, 1.56 g, 6 h). Rome, ca. A.D. 62. NERO CLA CAE AVG GER, helmet right resting atop column against which a shield with gorgoneion and spear / P M TR P IMP P P, olive branch. RIC 94; WCN 336; BMC -. Nicely detailed obverse. Reddish-brown patina with earthy-orange highlights. Good very fine / very fine.
