Trajan. A.D. 98-117. AR denarius (18 mm, 3.35 g, 7 h). Rome, ca. A.D. 108/9. IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P, laureate bust of Trajan right, drapery on far shoulder / COS V P P S P Q R OPTIMO PRINC around, DAC CA[P] in exergue, Dacia seated left on pile of arms and shields, resting head on hand in an attitude of mourning. RIC 98; Woytek 283bD; BMC 386; RSC 120. Pleasing old collection toning. Extremely fine.
