Otacilia Severa. Augusta, A.D. 244-249. Æ sestertius (28 mm, 12.88 g, 12 h). Commemorating the 1000th anniversary of Rome. Rome, under Philip I, A.D. 248. MARCIA OTACIL SEVERA AVG, diademed, draped bust of Otacilia Severa right / SAECVLARES AVGG, S C in exergue, hippopotamus with head raised walking right. RIC 200a. Attractive green patina with just a touch of light porosity. Nice full flan for the issue. Extremely fine.
