France, Royal. Charles VI. 1380-1422. AR gros dit florette (28 mm, 2.77 g, 7 h). Châlons-sur-Marne, 2nd emission, 10 May 1417, under authority of the Duke of Burgundy. Crowned triple lis; star beneath 4th letter / Cross fleurée; crown in first and fourth quarters. Duplessy 405; Ciani -. Typical crude strike but very little actual wear and plenty of mint luster still evident. Toned. Good very fine.
