Carolingian. Louis the Pious. 814-840. AR denier (19 mm, 1.65 g, 6 h). Uncertain mint, 822-840. + HLVDOVVICVS IMP, cross pattée; pellets in quarters / + PISTIAИA RELIGIO, temple façade. Morrisson and Grunthal 472; cf. MEC 1, 794 and 800 (for type). Good very fine.
