2nd century B.C. AR karshapana. Five punches, including three human figures / Geometric symbol. Pieper 145; MACW 4245. A choice specimen with sharp punches. Very fine.

The identity of these three figures is still undecided. There is some speculation that these could represent the mythical heroes of the Ramayana - Ram, Sita and Lakshman.
