Description
1st century B.C. Æ (11 mm, 1.51 g). Bull standing right, with yupa (sacrificial altar-in-railing) to right and swastika below / 4-orbed Ujjain symbol, with taurine in each quadrant. Not listed in Pieper. Rare and choice. Green patina. Nearly very fine.
An important coin showing the Hindu practice of bull sacrifice.
