Anonymous. Circa 580-600 AD. AR 1/3 Siliqua (14mm - 1.16 g). Constantinople mint. Helmeted, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantinopolis right / Large TX monogram. Bendall, "Some Comments on the anonymous silver coinage of the fourth to sixth centuries A.D.," in RN 2002, 12, fig. 25; Tolstoi pl. 28, 620. VF, minor roughness but nice for this issue. Very rare, only 3 specimens cited by Bendall.
